DescriptionUnusual novelty Celluloid sewing tape measure. Made in the 1930's, in Japan.Not marked but guaranteed to be an early and original piece (base photographed).The beacon leans slightly to one side when standing, but this could be corrected with some hot water (can be seen in photographs) and some very light wear, commensurate with age. Otherwise, in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.It measures approximately 4¾" in height.
