Steiff Hand Puppets
These are a rare couple of vintage whimsical toys made by the highly regarded Germany Toy company of Steiff. Great colors characterize the products of this maker. The 10 inch black eyed pair offered here have red felt combs and wattles, with hard yellow plastic beaks. The hen has an ecru mohair body while the rooster has a black front and green back mohair body. A round paper Steiff label is on the chest of the rooster, and both have a ...button and tag on their wings.
