THIS IS A VERY RARE ANTIQUE CHELSEA CLOCK. RARE MOUNT DESIGN – JUST DON'T SEE IT. I HAVE SEEN ONE IN A CHELSEA VALUE BOOK BUT NEVER FOR SALE. THE CLOCK IS IN WORKING CONDITION. HAS THE INNER SWEEP SECOND HAND. HAS THE F/S ADJUST. MARKED AS SHOWN. A REMARKABLE CLOCK. ARABIC NUMERALS. SOLID BRASS CASE. I BELIEVE ...THIS WAS MOUNTED IN AN AUTOMOBILE BUT CERTAINLY COULD HAVE BEEN MOUNTED ON A MARINE VESSEL. THE CLOCK FACE MEASURES 4 INCHES ACROSS. THE LARGER DIAMETER IS 4 3/4 INCHES. MEASURES 3 1/2 INCHES DEEP AT THE DEEPEST PART OF THE BRASS CASE. ANGLED MOUNT. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE. VERY RARE. CIRCA 1900.
