Original Description:
You are bidding on a Vintage Carpenter Hatchet. Stamped on blade reads "Merit Mark" but was made by Fulton Tool. The marking was not aligned when stamped. The single Bit Wood Carpenter Hammer Hatchet has a tightly embedded Hickory or Ash Wood Handle that measures 13-1/2" long overall. The Single Bit cutting edge comes in good condition and shows pitting wear from use but still useable to split wood or pound or pull nails. Blade still has a good sharp edge and wood handle fits tight. WE...IGHS almost 2 lbs.
