We are currently selling part of our military medal collection and will be listing a few over the next few months. A number of these medals are named to WALLACE.

An Original WW1 trio group of medals consisting of the following all correctly named and mounted as worn. - 1914 - 15 Star named to S-7643. PTE. R. WALLACE. R.HIGHRS. on 3 lines. ROYAL HIGHLANDERS 2ND BATTALION. (Medals Yearbook #167) -... World War I British War Medal named to S-7643. PTE. R. WALLACE. R.HIGHRS. impressed on the rim. (Medals Yearbook #168) - British Victory Medal named to S-7643. PTE. R. WALLACE. R.HIGHRS. impressed on the rim. (Medals Yearbook #170) - Also included are a couple of copies of records. They indicate the his name is ROBERT WALLACE of the BLACK WATCH ROYAL HIGHLANDERS. The trio is his full entitlement according to has Medal Index Card available on line. FORCES WAR RECORDS and COMMONWEALTH WAR GRAVES COMMISSION indicates that he DIED on July 20, 1916 in the Persian Gulf and is buried in the BASRA WAR CEMETERY in IRAQ.
