Vintage 24” large mid century modern green art glass genie bottle Empoli Italy For your consideration is this nice, large vintage retro atomic genie bottle in emerald green glass. It measures 24” tall to top of stopper x 6” wide at base and is in overall good vintage condition with a couple issues to note. The very tip of the flame stopper seems to have been been broken off at an angle. It’s not terribly noticeable or detracting unless you are looking for it. You could tur...n the break to the back to minimize the visual effect. Interior was somewhat dusty and there are some water marks which may or may not come out with a good cleaning. Hard to notice unless you are holding it in bright light though. There is either some sort of residue in the base interior or the glass there was made with a textured effect. I couldn’t get an implement down there to see if it was surface gunk or part of the glass. As it’s in the very base it really isn’t noticeable when the bottle is sitting on a solid surface but I want you to be aware. Has a polished base which makes me believe it is Empoli but is unmarked. I’ve priced this with these condition issues in mind. It will weigh about 5-6 lbs packed in a large box safely. Local pick up near Boston very welcome!
