Vintage Holiday Halloween Bat Jack-o-Lantern Postcard 1910 One Cent Stamp. The stamp is only lightly cancelled. Condition is Used. There is only slight wear to the corners and what appears to be a small water stain on the bat’s wing. This 109 year old card is in fabulous condition. The poem reads: “If you light a candle at the ends, Twirl it that the air it tends, should the right end stay lit, all will be gay. If the left stay lit the witches stay, if both stay lit you will belt. ...If both go out you have routed them out.” (I have no idea what it means, but it must have been a popular “thing” in its day!). Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
