Vintage Sterling Silver Belt Buckle by the legendary William B. Kerr company. The buckle is in excellent condition though it has had initials removed-see photos, This effort which will be reflected in a reduced price, though I must mention that those tiny marks are a whole lot harder to see in 'real life' than in those close-up photos. The buckle is stamped sterling, fits a belt 1 inch wide and is a compression type: Instead of a prong in the buckle being i...nserted into one of the holes in the belt, here the buckle clamps down on the belt. The last photo shows the compression piece attached to the buckles loop. Move the loop in one direction to tighten the belt, the other to loosen. It's fast, easy to get used to and the hold is firm.
