1971 SCHWINN FAIR LADY STINGRAY MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE GREEN GIRLS BICYCLE LIL CHIK Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Her...e is a rare original June 1971 SCHWINN "Fair Lady" Stingray 20" BICYCLE! (FF Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in mostly original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, the majority of the parts on this bike appear to be original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing CAMPUS GREEN factory painted color. (this is one of the coolest and most popular colors ever offered on a Schwinn Stingray) It has the original chrome Schwinn S7 front and rear rims. Both front and rear tires hold air. The front is a Schwinn tire. The rear is a slightly newer replacement tire and both do hold air. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! Though it is not flawless, I think the paint is relatively ok for a 45+ year old kids bicycle! The chrome is shiney but not perfect show quality. You can read the chainguard lettering really well unlike most of them. The seat was upgraded a long time ago and looks super cool on the bike! (has a couple rips) I have never seen another like it! The bike is an original 3-speed with hand controlled brakes. (missing shift cable) Check out the BIG rear brake caliper! (reminds me of an Orange Krate bike) A really cool original paint bike!
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The paint looks fairly ok for a 40+ year old bike! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment.
