Vintage English Sterling Silver Movable Beatles Charm Guitar Moves
I'm listing a few 'Beatles' charms that were collected many years ago. I collected so many that I didn't realize I had duplicates! I've always thought this charm represented 'Paul' of The Beatles, with its caricature of Paul's big eyes. It's a superb charm removed from a vintage 1960's English charm bracelet. It is modeled to look like a 'beetle...' insect which of course, is a play on their name. The detail on the beetle's appendages is phenomenal! Most of the versions of this charm you'll find today are more recently produced. I've included a comparison of a post-1960's version of the charm (next to last image) so that you can see the difference in the detail. The one on the left is the newer one.The charm is in good condition with the exception of the slightly twisted neck of the guitar, and it could use a clean. I have never seen a perfect guitar neck on the authentic vintage version of this charm. The measurement is 5/8" wide by 1" tall. The arms can move up and down. It is made of .925 sterling silver.
