William Flanagan is a well documented fish decoy maker from Minnesota. His decoys have outstanding folk art qualities and the ones that combine natural wood, woodburning and paint like this 7" pike are especially collectible and unusual. It is excellent and has never been used. The lead weight has a coat of later black paint and the lead may have been replaced. This is a very collectible and old decoy that is just about 50 years old.
