Vintage American Gas Machines AGM Model 3016 Burgundy LanternUp for sale is an AGM 3016 single mantle lantern. The lantern has no globe and at least 3 stress cracks in the fount. Unfortunatley this 3016 lives up to it's AGM brass fount reputation. However, there are still lots of good parts on this rig. Burner assembly, cage, collar, ventilator, bale, directional knob, locking nuts, are all very nice. The ventilator has a few chips but has a nice finish. The tip cleaner cam moves up an...d down in the assembly beautifully, however the generator itself needs to be replaced. I believe a Coleman 200A generator will work in this model. The leather cup on the pump is bad, the directional valve has no packing, cap gasket is most likely no good. Overall, most of the upper assemblies seem to be okay and very light on rust overall.As for the fount, you can find JC Higgins models that should work with this 3016. It is definitely worth the effort because single mantle lanterns are awesome and very rare.
