For your consideration is a cherry stoner. This device was to remove the seeds/pits/stones from cherries (which was a tedious and time consuming task). It was manufactured of cast iron by Enterprise Manufacturing Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Apparently, it worked OK, as Enterprise Manufacturing made them for several years and other companies made similar models. It has a maximum height of 13" and from the back of the tray that the holds the whol...e cherries to the tip of the spout is 8 1/2'. This cherry stoner or pitter is an old item that was used. Every part turns and functions the way it is supposed to, but it has been painted, there is rust on the wheel that removes the seeds/pits/stones and one wing on one wing nut is broken off.
