A chinese Ming shiwan shekwan stoneware figure of a noble or scholar done in powder blue and turquoise colour glazes, not signed and probably a period piece due to the amount of iron in the piece where burnt orange and defiantly old, but not entirely sure could be a little later maybe early Qing in the 18th century, so please study pictures and judge for yourselves. A Rare piece and great addition to your collection.size: 20.5 cms tall x 8 cms widest point sleeve to sleeve. . . . And t...he depth 5.5 at thickest point.Condition: looks like the head has been off and glued back, few little nibbles of the sleeve area which is minor and a firing flaw to base, other than that an excellent example which still displays well.SEE PICS. . . . . .
