FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE "CADILLAC V8 STANDARD OF THE WORLD" WITH RARE SHIELD WITH DUCK LOGO 12" BY 9" BAKED METAL GAS & OIL ADVERTISING SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE VERY FAMOUS CADILLAC SHIELD WITH DUCK LOGO. THIS SIGN WAS FOUND IN A LARGE ADVERTISING COLLECTION IN BEVERLEY PARK CALIFORNIA. THIS SIGN MEASURE 12" BY 9" AND WEIGHTS AROUND 2 POUNDS 2 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF THICK BAKED METAL. THIS SIGN WAS PURCHASED WITH A COLLECTION OF SIGNS FROM... BEVERLEY PARK CALIFORNIA ESTATE, SO CHECK MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MORE NEAT SIGNS & ANTIQUES FROM THE ESTATE.
The estate sale that we purchased these signs from stated that these signs have been hung up in his collection for between 5 and 40 years making all of the items listed vintage. Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the California area. I have decided to sell some of our rare and hard to find signs. We are selling these with no reserve on the price of the sign (meaning no minimum). These items are being sold as is and as seen in the pictures. This week I am selling part of the collection of mickey mouse & gasoline and motor oil related signs.
