Recent estate purchase. Being sold "as is" for parts/repair/restoration. Does not currently run. Does not wind (mainspring problem). Balance turns freely though. Stainless steel case that measures 36.80mm (lug to lug) x 30.06mm (does not include the crown). Numbered "4690" between the lugs. Dial is marked "Ratterman". Outside back case marked "Movado Factories Switzerland". Inside back case marked "FB Patent Stainless Steel Inal #474690; #14729". The movement is marked "Movado Factorie...s Swiss 15 Fifteen Jewels Unadjusted". I would guess this to be around the 1940's. I would also guess that this is also a military watch. Why does it say "Ratterman" on the dial? I have no idea. Take a close look at all the photos provided and use these as part of the description. Check-out my other listings.
