Here's a big handsome golden oak Seth Thomas office clock from 1904 that runs as good as it looks! While this model is not often seen, it makes a quiet design statement nonetheless. With a nod to late Victorianism it hints at things to come with a faintly "Mission" flair. Would look super in a house of the same era!
Big and bold (18'' X 23"), it was meant to be easily read in large rooms. Heavy, it requires a strong hanger. Seth Thomas clocks were produced for much of the 1800s into... the 1900s at Thomaston, Connecticut. Front movement plate marked "ST" (Seth Thomas)  and 41. "made in USA". Bushings look tight and clean.
It doesn't ring any gongs, chimes or bird calls. Just tells the time with great accuracy. Wind it once a week and forget it. Original winding key included.
