"Jane, Jean and Joan" is #1553 by the Merrill Publishing Company and is the original from 1953. This set is so rare that I can't find a reproduction of it or another one for comparison. Overall this is in great condition for being 69 years old. There are 3 dolls that are 10.75 inches tall and are not lifting from the covers. This set has 6 uncut pages of outfits for the adorable dolls. The booklet has some spine and storage wear. There is paper age t...anning and I tried to show that in the last photo. The entire set and flaws shown. This set is very hard to find and a great addition to your paper doll collection!!!
My paper doll collection has been purchased from other collectors and on eBay. I don't know the previous storage history. My collection is in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7. People did smoke way back when, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and I don't know if that lingers. I do try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
