This is a Fabulous Vintage Bird Of Paradise Brooch by D'Orlan, the Canadian company started around 1960 by Sandra Boucher, wife if Marcel Boucher. The head and body are pave set with clear Rhinestones with a Red Rhinestone Eye. Gold tone metal Beak. Wings and Tail Feathers are a beautiful Green and Blue Enamel, interspaced with Clear Rhinestones outlined in Gold tone metal. D'ORLAN and copyright C are marked on the back. The size is just over 3" x 1 1/4" at widest point. The condition ...is excellent. All stones intact. No damage.
