This is for a lovely perfectly preserved little brass figural sovereign case from around 1900. It is fashioned as an owl, detailed on both sides and it has its original little glass eyes. It has a large suspension loop and the little button below releases the lid to open. Inside there are two sprung holders to take sovereigns. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, it has a nice unpolished patina and there are no dings or dents and no splits. It measu...res 64mm (2.5") tall by 24mm (1") deep and is 32mm (1.25 )wide. The sockets inside are 23mm and 20mm in diameter.
