Vintage Leading Edge Computer DC - 2011 Model D Daewoo Intel 8088 IBM Clone 640k

Available is a vintage Leading Edge DC-2011 Model D computer made by Daewoo. It's CPU is an Intel 8088 running at 4.77 MHz. It has 640k ram installed. It was sold as an IBM Compatible/Clone. Unlike the IBM PC and IBM PC/XT, the Model D integrated video, the floppy disk controller, a battery backed clock, serial and parallel ports directly onto the motherboard rather than putting them on plug-in cards. This one has 3 full length bays open with one being occupied by a Hard Disc Controlle...r card. The system has been tested in that it repeatedly powers on, does a thorough ram check but fails to load a Boot Disk from the Drive A 5.25in floppy drive. The drive light does come on but it fails to function properly. A second full size bay is open below the floppy drive which probably had a Hard Drive but had been removed before I came into possession of it. The metal computer case is a nice white color with a few scratches/scuff marks, a bit of sticker residue and some small areas of surface rust and has four cork feet on the bottom. There is a name written in red marker on back of the case by the ports.The plastic front of the case has turned into a dark tan color. Monitor and Keyboard are only used to show functionality and are not included with this computer. They are bundled with another identical model computer in a separate auction

The weight of the computer is around 20 pounds so this will be a  heavy package. Buyer pays for shipping through either UPS of FedEx. Anyone near the Asheville, NC area is welcome to make a in person pick up to avoid the shipping charges.
