Up for auctionis an early 11 inch Brass Bugle. There are no markings on it anywhere which leads me to believe that it was either made here in the US, or imported before import stamps were required. Unlike many of the newly made bugles this one has a brass body with copper fittings, instead of the other way around. It has a few light dings, but having asked a trumpet player his opinion, it plays fine so the few light dents will not impact the sound when played.&nb...sp; As you can see, there is an even patina overall which can be cleaned to the new owners taste or just left alone as it has a great old look.
