This is a very elegant little vintage tablecloth/topper than has been hand worked with colored applique roses and leaves, cut work, and buttonhole embroidery stitch. It has been done on a very heavy coarse linen of soft white that still retains the body of linen that has not been laundered often. Simple design of a few long stem roses in the center and along the edge and corners. Ros...es are dark yellow, embroidered in dark yellow, light yellow, orange and dark orange. Stitching is small and very, very precise and expertly done. It measures a smallish 40 x 43 inches. Very, very pretty and in MINT condition. It has been recently laundered and ironed, ready for immediate use or gifting.

All items are vintage and previously used, therefore, usually none are 'perfect' unless stated as such. I strive to accurately describe each item as to any defects but it is possible to miss one or two. All linens are soaked to remove any grime and age yellowing so as to bring them back to their bright original white or color(s). I also attempt to remove all the stains I can but some just won't budge and are consistent with use or age of the item. Everything has been laundered, dried in the sunshine on a clothesline (weather permitting) and ironed. I do use fabric softener so if you have issues with fragrance, you may want to consider that.
