This is an original antique (early 20th century) cast iron Boomer hay trolley with the drop pulley. The trolley has pitting and surface rust on all surfaces (typical, considering age and materials), but nothing is cracked or repaired and the entire piece is sturdy and solid. All wheels turn except one at the top. The bottom section of the trolley swivels as intended and the drop pulley clamps securely in place. The tip of one of the wings on the drop pulley frame is slightly bent but i...t doesn't interfere with functionality.
Markings on both sides of the trolley include "BOOMER PAT DEC. 25 06". Loose dirt and debris was removed from the trolley but there is still some dirty residue inside. The trolley measures 17" L at the top x 7" in diameter where it swivels x 13" H by itself or 23" H including the drop pulley. It was made to ride on a steel track, not a wood beam. Both pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
