Here are Two Vintage Children’s Games by the Ideal Toy Company for the price of what you might expect to pay online for one!(1) The game of Tip-It (No. 2435-6), 1965. The box cover describes it as “The Wackiest Balancing Game Ever.” The object of the game is to acquire various Discs, which are worth points, while trying to keep the “Acrobat” balance...d on his perch. Designed for 2-4 players. The game appears to have been played only sparingly. Instructions are printed inside the top of the box. This comes Complete with the spinner and all the parts. Everything, including the box (which has minor fading and expected shelf wear from age), would be considered in Very Good Condition (with the single exception that the plastic fork used to remove the discs has a broken end that is held together with scotch tape).
(2) The game of Hang On Harvey (No.2346-5), 1969. Instructions are printed inside the top of the box. The object of the game is to be the first player to get any part of his “Harvey” game piece to hang below the bottom edge of the Playing Field by lowering Harvey peg by peg—being careful he doesn’t fall off. Designed for 2 players. This game comes with the Vertical Playing Field, Base, 2 Harveys, and 10 pointed toothpicks as replacements for the original pegs. The box has two remnants of scotch tape that was used to hold the top and bottom together when we moved from one house to another. It has been stored in our closet for over 35 years and appears to have been played only a few times. The box, playing field, base, and two Harveys are all in Very Good Condition (showing only minor fading and shelf wear due to age).
