Vintage Royal Winton Grimwades ROYALTY pattern ChintzAlbans Shape - Full-size Coffee Pot
Made in EnglandGreat condition - bright vibrant colors in pattern. Some loss to gold trim. Age related crazing.Green Royal Winton Grimwades backstamp with "Made in England" in circular logo.Backstamp dates to pre-1943 (no "A" in the backstamp)
Marked Royalty in blue print on bottom of pot.Pattern introduced in 1936.The picture showing the shape is from my Mom's Chintz book I am using as a... reference.
Coffee Pot is the desirable Albans shape and measures approx. 7.75" tall (with lid to top of finial) X 8.5" wide (spout to handle edge)A great addition to your collection :)
No chips/cracks/repairs - nominal crazingNo interior staining noted.Loss to gold gilding at tip of spout and lid rim.There is a slight roughness to a small area at the coffee pot rim; I believe this to be a thinness to the clear glaze over the pattern. It does not detract from the beauty of this coffee pot.
