RE-LISTED due to another non-paying eBay winning bidder. Here is a larger than most vintage Longines 17 jewel Swiss watch. This SIGNED case Longines measures 37.1 mm wide not including the crown. Has draped 18 mm lug spacing. The case is gold electroplated with a stainless steel pop-off case back. Has turtle leg lugs. T...he case shows some minor edge wear on the back side of the lug edges. Nothing too serious. The SIGNED dial has gold applied Arabic even numbers and teardrop odd hour markers.Has gold sword hands and a sunken sub-seconds register at the 6 o'clock position. The crystal is clean. This watch has a good looking SIGNED 17 jewel Cal. 12.68Z Swiss movement and does run. Serial number 8, 907, 195 dates this Longines watch to 1952. The watch will need stem and crown work as the stem seems to short and the crown is loose on the stem. Should be an easy fix but my 85 year old watchmaker has passed away and I have nobody to do this work. There is a new black leather strap attached. Sold for repair and there is no return.
