PAIR ANTIQUE KARL ENS PORCELAIN FIGURINES MAN & LADY EACH WITH D...OGS DescriptionA pair of antique early 20th century porcelain figures produced by Karl Ens. Karl Ens production is more often for animals as however these delightful figures are in the Dresden style.
They are modeled as a lady and gentleman upon a naturalistic base, he is playing a stringed instrument, she is carrying a basket of eggs. Each has a small dog beside. They are each modeled upon ornate rococo scrolling bases with wreath decoration. The figures have been painted by hand in enamels.
