Hi , my late father was a collector of antique pocket watches and was passionate about them, however I do not know much about them but will be selling a number of them (please look at other listings if interested) This is an 18k gold pocket watch. I wound the key and a cog started spinning then stopped therefore I’m not sure if it’s fully working but didn’t want to wind it anymore. There are words inscribed inside the case which I think states “Thierry Geneve” and another ita...lic work that starts with “cylinder” (I think) but I can’t make out the second word however I can clearly see 18k, also there is a number that reads 4?86846 (I can’t make out the second number). The glass is loose (may not be original) and after opening the front up I can’t close it again properly but didn’t want to break it. There is hairline mark on the front face and it is approximately 35mm in diameter. Any questions please ask and I will do me best to answer.
