Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this nice1950's era Electro Voice 950 Cardax microphone with a new old stock Switchcraft 5/8 Amphenol to 1/4 inch female plug and era Atlas DS-5 desk stand. The crystal element has strong high Z output with the old school rockabilly sound. Some variance with the bass screw out, but little difference from screwed all the way in.The cosmetic condition of the microphone is... above average with the typical scratches and scuff on the chrome body. The screens are in good condition and the threading is clear. The on/off switch works correct and the angle adjustment is tight. The heavy metal stand is 6 inches round and the full height with the microphone mounted is 12 1/2 inches. A nice vintage set for functional use or a great display, prop piece.
