Presented for your consideration:An absolutely fabulous vintage hand crafted hand blown sliding art glass bead necklace that has a 1980’s Memphis post modern flair.I believe this is from a series produced by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Boston.This is a truly stunning piece of wearable art!! It takes the form of a long snake chain slide that features a large abstract hand wrought double sided sterling, brass and copper fixed panel pendant and numerous free sliding art glass bead...s of various sizes, colors and shapes. The glass beads are elaborately decorated with fabulous fruit salad colors and caining and are various shapes. The fixed element allows the free sliding beads to brace against it in various positions changing the look. The necklace can be worn long or as a very cool lariat! Please note: the necklace is not quite long enough to double wrap. I used a hinged ring bale in order to show it double draped.
