Vintage Sesame Street Big Bird Tape Player. Condition is Used. Measures approximately 10" long x 6.5" tall x 2" wide. Weighs approximately 1.5 pounds.
Plays cassette tapes great! All buttons work - play, stop, fast forward, and rewind. Rewinds tapes very fast, but fast forward is a bit slow. No eject button, so you must load and remove tapes manually (which is cumbersome). Volume adjustment knob works fine. Speaker is located on the ba...ck of the player, so I found at or near max volume is a comfortable listening level. Includes a connected microphone, but the player does not have a record function...so microphone purpose is unknown (perhaps just so kids can pretend to sing along with music?). Player has a few small scuffs and scratches, and the front plexiglass window has some internal cracking but remains solid. DC power adapter missing. Requires 4 size "C" batteries (not included).
