Rare United States Army Medical Dept restaurantware butter dish. Marked on the bottom McNicol China, Clarksburg, W.VA 1942.
Measures approx. 7 1/8" long x 3 1/8" wide, x 1" deep.
In excellent vintage condition, no chips, nicks or cracks and the glaze is shiny throughout. There is a small area on the rim of the plate where the glaze is slightly light brown. Appears to have been manufactured that way because the color is in the glaze (see last photo)...r>
