Vintage Paper 1920s & 1930s Between The Wars Theme For Art Craft Journals
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:8107235 | Material: Paper |
Theme: 1920s |
This listing is for one (1) gorgeous lot of vintage paper featuring images, text, fashion illustrations, photos, print advertisements and general information covering the period 1918 to 1940... between the wars, the age of flappers, the roaring twenties, the Charleston, prohibition, art deco, jazz, swing, the depression era and so on.
Material is sourced from old magazines, books and sheet music published during the 1920s and 1930s as well as text books encyclopedia, chi...ldren's books, reproduction newspapers and other ephemera related to the theme, generally published from early to mid 20th century up to 1980s.
There will be at least 16 pieces, pages, part pages and/or cut outs, in each pack. The paper ranges from light to medium weight and includes both matte and glossy finishes. Paper is sized from approximately 1 x 2 cm up to 21 x 28 cm (8.5 x 11 inches). Packs may sometimes include larger pieces that have been folded to keep postage costs down.
Some of this paper is over 70 years old so there may be small tears, pen or pencil marks, browning, foxing and other signs of age, but I think this only adds to the charm. There are no digital prints or photocopies in this selection so each piece will usually have pictures or text on both sides of the paper.
Every pack is different but will be similar to the ones shown in the photos. (The beads, bangles and flower are photo props only and not included in the listing). This is a great pack for collage, decoupage, scrap booking, card making, art journals and other mixed media projects. I have been collecting old, damaged books and magazines for some time now, so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in a particular era or theme as I may be able to do a custom pack for you for a small additional charge.
I usually post Mondaysand Wednesdays. If you live outside Australia please allow a fewweeks for delivery. Please let me know ifyou have any problems so we can resolve any issues before giving feedback. I'man ebay shopper too and aim to give the sort of customer service I'd want toreceive JThanks for looking!
