It is an old stock and has a little musty smell , You can put it in the sun for several days to remove it .the zipper doesn't work well due to a longtime storage.It became smooth after I polished them with candle and could be better after using several times.
As man's technology in aviat...ion advanced, aircraft flew faster and higher. Human factor problems in flight now arose: such as how to keep a man alive as higher altitudes were attained. The human body, like that of a helium balloon, expands due to less air pressure the farther away from earth the human travels. Aviation research and technology yielded the partial pressure suit for pilots flying at altitudes up to 50, 000 feet and the full pressure suit (Space Suit)for altitudes beyond that. This pressure suit consists of a body with inflatable capstans that , when inflated , pulls the suit tighter around the pilot. Obviously this would prevent the pilot from inflating like a balloon and exploding!
