This 10 1/4-inch Blue Willow dinner plate was in my 94-year-old aunt's home and was part of her vast collection of china, dinnerware and glassware. It doesn't look like she ever used it but she might have displayed it because of the Asian design. She was enamored with Asian art and the highlight of her global travels was her trip to China.
This piece, marked Churchill and Made in England, is absolutely pristine. Although it is marked dishwasher safe, my aunt did not own a dishwasher....
This plate was part of a 3-piece set that included a teacup and saucer, which I have posted separately. I am breaking them up in case someone is looking for replacement pieces. However, I will combine shipping.
Not only did my widowed aunt not own a dishwasher, she had no children or pets, did not smoke and had lived alone except for a 10 year marriage in the 1960s.
