This is a vintage Silver darts medal. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1953. It is shaped like a shield, with an enamelled dart board on the front. On the back it says Mew Langton Lymington League, Runners Up 1953-54, W Shelly. It is in very good condition, just 2 small areas of missing enamel. I am away until 25th, so will answer any questions as soon as I get back. Now a little information about postage.Most jewellery items come in new black cardboard or plastic jewelle...ry boxes, with white wadding, and bubble wrap, for extra safety. These are then sent in jiffy bags, so all items should be very secure. The only exceptions to this are more delicate items, glass, china etc., that need added protection. These are sent in solid jewellery boxes, sometimes used, but always in very good condition. If you want an item for a present, and need a special box, do let me know, as I can normally find something appropriate to send it in. My standard UK postal charge of £2.20 covers the cost of postage, box, jiffy bag, bubble wrap etc. I am having to revise my postage rates for International Postage, as Royal Mail increased the rates from April 2014, but do remember, as always, I am happy to combine postage on any items that are paid for at the same time.
