Offered here is the now out of print RODAN/WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS DVD double feature from Sony-- absolutely stunning picture and sound-- this edition is selling for $165 on Amazon (see last pic) but you can get it here for a lot less since we're offering it with a low opening bid and NO RESERVE.
Of all the GARGANTUA films starring Russ Tamblyn this is considered the pinnacle, the nadir, the Citizen Kane of Gargantua films. It's a giant monster story, sure but it's also a love s...tory-- a love story between a brown and a green Gargantua who like Cain and Able just can't get along simply because one of them wants to live peacefully and the other wants to eat humans. It's also a love story between the beautiful Kumi Mizuno and the brown Gargantua like King Kong. And it's a love story between Russ Tamblyn and himself, because he out Tom Thumb's himself in this movie, and he shows that he can run with the best of them even without the aid of Jets or Sharks. It's Russ Tamblyn dammit. I guess Nick Adams wasn't available.
The DVD is perfectly cared for because I'm one of those nuts that takes care of their DVDs -- no lose discs kicking around, no discs out of the wrong case, etc. These are well cared for and only watched once or twice. Rodan has never been watched because I already had another copy of that.
