This is a pair of vintage pre -1986 Gotz Puppe Modell all vinyl dolls.They are the girl Romina & the boy Romino dolls.It is not know for sure but it is excepted that this is a set of twin dolls. These are both 18" dolls with vinyl heads, arms & legs and a hard vinyl torso.They both feature functioning sleepy eyes and are wearing matching original outfits with the Gotz Modell tags still on them..These dolls are considered the prototype for the American Girl dolls.To find a pair ...like this is VERY RARE.I have left dolls exactly as found.The stringing on both are completely intact but both are loose. Did not want to try tighten the strings.They dolls have been displayed standing up and over the years the strings have become loose.Very common for this type of articulated doll.This is a very nice pair of HARD TO FIND dolls.
