PRICE REDUCED!Super rare vintage Wittnauer 4000 type QUARTZ diver watch, mint in boxes with booklets. Try to find another one, especially in this condition. As close to NOS condition as you will find. Possibly unworn, but some links were removed for sizing it for someone, so I don't feel it's appropriate to list as New. The removed links are included, as are the inner and outer boxes, and two booklets. This is from my husbands personal collection. It...'s been stored in a safe for quite some time (battery removed while stored). Fresh battery just installed a few days ago and it works perfectly. 37 mm case, without crown. Wittnauer logo on the screwdown crown. Original bracelet which is not marked Wittnauer on clasp, but I am certain it's original since the end pieces literally would not integrate well with any other case aside from this one. Watch fits about a 7 to 7 1/4 inch wrist as it sits right now, but there is another inch or so of spare links in the box, which will get the bracelet to 8" or so, if they are added. Bi-directional, non ratcheting bezel. Watch is not marked with any water resistance rating, but booklet says tested to over 500 feet. Boxes and booklets look like new, super crisp. Movement is ESA/ETA 947.111, quite rare. Best guess is that it was produced in early 1980s. These vintage/retro divers will only increase in value as time goes one, especially one in this condition.
