Up for auction is a vintage Halliburton aluminum case from the late 30's or early '40's. This is the earliest style of case they made, preceding the ripple design that came in the mid-forties. The size of the case is approximately 18" x 13" x 6". As you can see from the pictures, it has blemishes, scratches, and some pitting, but only a small, barely noticeable dent and looks pretty good for its age. It is intact, functional, very cool and an unusual example of ...the original Halliburton product. The case is engraved 'Mrs. F. R. Halliburton, ' and when I acquired it I was told that it belonged to a member of the Halliburton family in Texas.
