New Lion King Limited Edition Snow Globe Light / Music Box (Disney Auctions, 2003). This fantastic very hard to find large scale 10th Anniversary collector's item only removed from original box for inspection (please see last photo and read bottom note) is truly a rare find. The artistic sculptured snow globe showcases the film with the adult Simba standing midway up the Pride Rock-like formation. The "spirit" of Simba's father Mufasa appears in the largest globe which i...lluminates (perfect for night light); smaller globes contain Nala, Scar, Rafiki, and the team of Pumbaa and Timon. Lurking in the left side are the three spotted hyenas Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Zazu the hornbill bird is seen flying by on the other side. The top large globe lights up (using two AAA batteries, not included) and the music played is "Just Can't Wait to be King." This magnificent large piece weighing 8 pounds stands approximately 11" high with the base about 7.5" wide. This long sold-out eBay only original edition was limited to only 500 pieces worldwide sure to only increase in value.
NOTE: Please see last photo. While this is a brand new Lion King 10th Anniversary Snow Globe still in its original box, when we inspected the item we were surprised to see one of the small globes water with Rafiki monkey having a very light brownish tint color. I would think this could be changed to new water, but we did not find a way to remove the globe. Payment is due within 2 days or ebay will relist item for sale.
