Fantastic RARE all white version similar to Mother?s Darlingwith Oval BaseI am offering this beautiful, Vintage, Hutschenreutherfigurine of a mother and child designed by Karl Tutter.This lovely figurine depicts and woman holding up her child(which appears to be a boy unlike the girl in the other version of Mother?sDarling) in the air. There is a flowingribbon running from the front of the dress to the back. Unlike other versions, this one has adecorative oval base.The figu...rine stands approximately 10 1/2 inches tallfrom the highest point to base. The base is 6? long and 4 3/8 wide. The base it eh widest part of this piece andthe figurine fits within the base footprint.Signs of where the rectangular paper label was attachedon bottom. Signed ?K Tutter? embossed onthe base.Light signs of previous use should be expectedconsistent with age - previously owned and seems to be stored in a curiocabinet and well cared for - free of chips, cracks, stains, hairlines - a cleanexample!!All fingers and toes are in pristine condition.Note: The ribbon has a rough feel along a ½? sectionalong the back side of the figurine which is not a chip but appears to beoriginal to manufacture.Please see all photosArtist Background:Karl Tutter, Germany, (1883 ? 1969)Karl Tutter was one of the most famous porcelain modelersof the 20th century.
