I do not have a beta machine therefore this is untested and sold as is. I took a pic under the flap so that you can see the tape is in tact and not broken..NOTE: As you see in the pics, the actual spine of the box says "VHS". This is not true however because this is indeed a Betamax tape inside. I have listed volume 3 in a different auction and that one has a "BETA" sticker over where the "VHS" text is on the box. So I'm guessing the factory never had actual bet...a boxes printed and they just put the beta sticker over the vhs text. They must have forgotten to do so on this beta box?? I don't know, but anyway short story long...this is a Betamax tape!
