Item History & Price
Ingraham Key Wound With Rich Hourly Chime~Price just reduced~
Offered for your rare clock or Orange Crush advertising collection, we offer a truly rare Ward's Orange Crush clock by Ingraham Clock Co, Bristol, Ct, c.1915. The clock has a "trap door" on the bottom for access to the pendulum. It has a side bracket for the included key and a drop pin to hold the glass front frame c...losed. The key winds both the chime and mainspring from the front of the clock. The clock and clock face (often replaced) are original. The "Ward's" name refers to Neil C. Ward, the inventor of the recipe for Orange Crush. It first premiered as "Ward's" Orange Crush in 1911, with orange pulp in the bottles to give it a "fresh squeezed" illusion. It is also how we dated the clock. This is what we consider a museum quality piece based on it's condition and appearance. This estate find worked right away for us and chimed every hour. We tested it for a week and it worked flawlessly. It is well packed with the pendlum weight removed and the bracket secured with elastic bands. The clock is heavily packed, double boxed and ready to ship. Shipping is included with the price. This rare piece will not last.
