Scarce 45 RPM single by Florida Rockabilly singer FRED BOYD containing "Heading South" b/w "I Married The Blues", issued on Blue Sky Records, catalog # 45-116. Research I've done on line seems to indicate "I Married The Blues" as the A side of this record, however the release number on the label shows "MBOW-3425" on the "Heading South" side and "MBOW-3426" on the "I Married The Blues" side. This copy is inscribed and signed on the "Heading South" side, another indicator that it was the... song being promoted. Of further interest is the appearane of pedal steel guitar legend Doug Jerningan, then at age 14, which puts this record's release in either 1960 or 1961.
