Only over 800, 000 were made With this year and mint. Most were melted down, destroyed after the evils of the war. A few: snuggled off soldiers and smuggled out. Not a reproduction. A rare Paul Hindenburg coin. These were made from '36-'39 only. Most were destroyed, melted down, after the war. A few; taken off soldiers, hoarded and smuggled. Only a few survived. Tracking plus .98 handling and mailed the next day. Most WW2 coins were melted down and destroyed after the war. A few escape...d, taken off soldiers, hoarded, smuggled out under harsh penalties if caught. My family has collected these for quite some time. First class shipping and .98 handling. A Very Rare Nice Date Silver WW2 Coin with a Great Mint Location. This Coin is Insane. The rare Silver John Von Hindenburg Eagle Coin.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ All Coins Are Genuine. Rather a larger coin (much larger that a US quarter), this rare swastika coin is made of silver, very scarce & the silver coin pictured is the one received.
Most German World War 2 coins were melted down after the war. Very scarce and rare. Larger coin (larger than a United States quarter) and is in great condition. Not Happy? Return it with No Problem. The coin pictured is the one you will fortunately receive.Some Soldier or even Hitler himself carried this coin around. With the price of silver skyrocketing, this is a great investment. Care to read some coin history?Very collectible and harder to get German/Nazi 2 Reichsmark SILVER coin from a mint in the 3rd Reich. On one side is the Nazi “War Eagle” perched on a wreath which encircles the most dreaded and feared symbol of that time, a large Swastika, and on the other is a portrait of Hindenburg, Hitler’s predecessor. Paul Von Hindenburg was Germany’s greatest hero of World War I. He was elected president of Germany in 1925 and appointed Hitler as chancellor in 1933. The aging Hindenburg died in 1934, and was honored on Nazi coins, minted between the years 1936 and 1939. The Nazis minted these coins in 7 different locations throughout Germany. In 1939 Hitler Succeeded by putting Poland under the swastika, and thus precipitated WW2. With war came many changes, the production of Nazi coins being just one. WW2 coincided with German mints ceasing production altogether of the silver Reichsmark Nazi coins. Further, all Reichspfennig Nazi coins were now produced in cheaper zinc. Production of Silver Nazi coins may have ceased with the start of WW2 but the swastika clearly remained, emblazoned on zinc and copper Reichspfennig Nazi coins, most of which were destroyed after the war along with the factories that made them.
