Original Description:
Nice condition - a perfect user. This No. 7 is a type 13, produced between 1925 and 1928. The sole is flat and smooth. Blade is fairly sharp and has good heft and length to it. Tote and knob are solid with no cracks or damage. Plane body has about 80% original japanning. No rust or pitting. There are two small 3/16" hairline cracks on either side of the mouth pointing towards the heel of the plane as seen in pictures #9 and #10. Probably a result of improper setting of the frog, and th...erefore cutter, during use. Won't be an issue with proper use. Otherwise an excellent No. 7 plane. An essential for every budding woodworker.
