up for auction is this very rare South Bend Watch Co. “THE STUDEBAKER”. Size 18s and 17 jewel, grade 323. Has the CENTURY trademark in the case.The unique part of this watch is the gold locomotive and scenery that is on the back of the case. Not sure if it is gold, but pretty awesome. Make no mistake, this isn’t the newer “STUDEBAKER”. This original watch is “THE STUDEBAKER”.. has the purple-ish hands and red 5 minute #s.. needs work, but a rare find. Sold as found.....
