Fantastic Homer Laughlin Eggshell Georgian Large Teapot in a 1940's Yellow and Cream. This pot is in excellent condition with a high luster glaze finish. This piece showcases a rare pattern with an ornate Gold Laurel trim in a detailed box pattern.
This pottery design is beautiful. Particularly the handle and spout. I've included a picture of the just the handle showing the full leaf design at the point the handled merges into the teapot.&nbs...p;
The teapot measures 8" tall by 10.5" from the tip of the handle to the tip of the spout. The are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are two pin point divot marks on the glaze that result from a glaze bubble when manufactured (see pics) There is a light fine surface scratch on the side of the teapot that isn't seen but I can feel it and barely see it when holding angled. There is some wear on the gold on top of the handle (see pic 5). All other gold is intact and in beautiful condition.

Homer Laughlin pottery is hand painted and manufacturing marks are common. You may see small dots of gold/contrasting paint under the glaze or a small glaze pinpoint divot is common.
